Mike Coney, Unitrends CEO, has wide-ranging executive software experience and expertise. Additionally, he has an extensive academic resume. Mr. Coney graduated from the Wharton School of Business Executive Leadership Program (University of Pennsylvania). On top of that, from the New York Institute of Technology, he attained his Bachelor’s degree.
Before coming on board with Unitrends, he was President and General Manager of Acronis Software. At Acronis Software, he led strategy for North and South America. Before joining Acronis, he held the position of Senior Vice President of the Americas for Veritas. This was up to Veritas’ merger with Symantec.
Furthermore, Mr. Coney was Executive Vice President of worldwide operations for Ingres Software Corporation. Moreover, he has held senior management roles at high growth firms. These included Sun Microsystems and Monster.com. On the whole, Unitrends has a strong management team with an abundance of expertise and practical experience.
